Westville Borough to conduct November 17, 2020 Land Use Board meeting via video teleconferencing
WESTVILLE BOROUGH, NJ, November 7, 2020 – In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, and the April 2, 2020 recommendations of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services, Westville Borough will host its next Land Use Board meeting via video teleconferencing on November 17, 2020, at 7 p.m. This action is being taken in order to limit any potential spread of COVID-19 and protect the safety of both residents, borough staff, professionals and applicants. Previously adopted Land Use Board Resolution ZB-19-09, “Rules of Procedure”, continues in full force and effect, subject to modification at the discretion of the Land Use Board Chairperson.
All plans and application materials for Judith Vedutis, 270 Chestnut Street, Westville, New Jersey and David Monaco, 7 Timber Avenue, Westville, New Jersey are electronically available for public review on and through the Westville Borough website. As an item of old business, the Land Use Board will be confirming the vote on Borough Resolution 95-2020. Members of the public may contact the Land Use Board Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org or call directly at 856-456-0030 Ext. 110 to receive a hard copy of the plans and application by mail or drop/pick up by appointment. Applicants exhibits will be posted on the website no less than two days in advance of the November 17, 2020 Land Use Board Meeting and posted for Board and public access prior to and during the video meeting.
To facilitate the meeting, the Borough will be using the video conferencing service ZOOM. The Borough municipal complex, along all Borough facilities, remains closed to members of the public.
If members of the public wish to offer a public comment, Westville Borough encourages members of the public to attend the Land Use Board meeting virtually. Any member of the public who wishes to submit a public comment at this upcoming Land Use Board meeting will be provided the ability to do so during a specific portion of the meeting.

For individuals who cannot access ZOOM digitally or dial into the meeting, they may submit written comments/questions by contacting the Land Use Board Secretary via email at email@example.com prior to the meeting, up until November 17, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. The comments/questions must include the individual’s name and address, which will be read into the record.
Meeting Participation Rules:
- All participants will be set to “listen only”.
- If a participant that has registered in ZOOM would like to comment during a portion of the meeting set aside for public participation, they must click the “Raise Hand” button and the host will unmute them.
- If a participant who has dialed into ZOOM would like to comment during a portion set aside for public participation, they must dial *9 and the host will unmute them.
