Minors/Curfew Ordinance

Attention residents:

At the October 27, 2025 council meeting the Governing Body approved for adoption Ordinance 10-2025, “Ordinance Repealing Chapter 148, ‘Curfew’ of the Code of the Borough of Westville and Adopting a New Chapter 148 titled ‘Minors/Curfew’ Establishing Curfew Regulations to Protect the Health, Safety and Welfare of Minors and the Community”.

Under this ordinance, minors under the age of 18 are not permitted in public places between the hours of 9:01 pm and 8:14 am unless accompanied by a parent or guardian or engaged in an approved activity. This ordinance is intended to promote public safety and protect the wellbeing of our youth and community.
