Borough of Westville Annual Free Bike Safety Rodeo ![]()
Saddle up and join the Westville Police Department as they work with a Cub Scouts troop for an Annual Bike Safety Rodeo! This free community event is designed to help our young riders (ages 4–12) build confidence, sharpen their riding skills, and learn the rules of the road in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
All children are welcome - bring your bike, helmet, and energy!
When: Wednesday, April 22nd at 6 pm
Where: Parkview School, parking lot
Cost: FREE!
What’s Happening?
• Safety Inspections: Police Officers will perform "ABC Quick Checks" (Air, Brakes, Chain) to ensure bikes are safe.
• Helmet Fittings: Free helmet fittings and inspections to ensure proper fit. [Optional: Free helmets available while supplies last, provided by our partners at (Partner Name)].
• Skills Obstacle Course: Kids will navigate a "chalk street" course featuring stations for maneuvering, steering, braking, and balance.
• Rules of the Road Training: Interactive lessons on hand signals, scanning, stopping at stop signs, and navigating intersections.
• Meet Your Officers: A great chance to meet the officers patrolling your neighborhood and build positive community relations.
