Promotion of Police Officer

At the February 24th Council Meeting, Mayor Sims had the honor of swearing in Patrolman Bill O’Connell to his new position of Sergeant. Sgt. O’Connell joined the Westville Police Department in November 2017 and has proven to be an exemplary officer with great leadership skills. Sgt. O’Connell officially became a Sergeant with his wife Stephanie and two sons at his side along with his fellow Westville officers who were in attendance to support his promotion. Congratulations Sgt. O’Connell on your well-deserved promotion.
