Congratulations to Officer Erik Hibbs!

At the June 24, 2024 council meeting, Mayor Sims administered the Oath of Office to Officer Erik Hibbs who was promoted to the position of Sergeant. Sgt. Hibbs began his public service career with the Westville Police Department in 2002 and throughout the years achieved many milestones, such as: Radar Instructor, CPR Instructor, Field Training Officer, LEAD Instructor, Town Watch Liaison and his most recent position of Detective. With his family by his side and his fellow Westville Police Officers in attendance, Sgt. Hibbs took the next step in his police career and Mayor and Council wish him the best of luck.
