As of this announcement, Governor Murphy stated Halloween “Will go on” in New Jersey. Unless he changes his mind and mandates otherwise Halloween will go on in Westville.
Mayor and Council would like all residents to enjoy Halloween traditions on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Trick or treating can take place between the hours of 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
We realize the Coronavirus Pandemic is still a concern of many. If you choose to participate in Halloween it’s totally up to you. Please keep your door open, front light on or any other creative way you see fit to signify you are handing out treats. If you choose not to participate that’s fine too. We ask all trick or treaters to respect your decision.
As a reminder, please take all necessary Coronavirus precautions by wearing a mask, use social distancing guidelines, wear gloves, use hand sanitizer and wash your hands once you get home.
Please check back for any changes or mandates from Trenton that may occur leading up to Halloween.
Enjoy the day. Be smart, stay safe and healthy.
