Water Shut Offs

Water Shut Offs for delinquent utility accounts will be conducted on May 22, 2018. Please pay any delinquent amounts by May 21, 2018 to avoid being shut off. Lions Club Yard Sale

Due to inclement weather, the Lions Club Yard Sale has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 2nd  from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. around the Pond at Thomas West Park.  Reserve a space by calling the Lions Club at 856-742-1132 or send an email to  ($15.00 for each space reserved)


Discounted Summer Tickets

Discounted Summer Amusement Tickets are available for sale at the Municipal Complex at 165 Broadway.  (Tickets for Morey’s Pier will be available by May 21.)    Tickets can be purchased Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The Borough can only accept cash or money orders for payment of the tickets.   Some of the Amusements include:  Great Adventure, Hurricane Harbor, Adventure Aquarium, Philadelphia Zoo, Diggerland USA.  For a complete listing of Amusements and pricing, download the flyer.

Movie in the Park

The Borough of Westville and the County of Gloucester will host the Movie in the Park on Friday, May 25, 2018.  This year’s movie is “COCO” and will be shown at Galbraith Park after sunset.  Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a family night of watching a movie under the stars.  The County of Gloucester will supply free popcorn to moviegoers!


Westville’s Fireworks show will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 starting at Dusk along River Drive.   Food trucks will be at the event from 6 pm to 9 pm .   (Click on the word Fireworks in red to download the 2018 flyer)

Fire Hydrants Flushing

Fire Hydrants will be flushed between Monday, April 30 to Friday, May 4, 2018.  Hydrant flushing will take place between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

A slight discoloration of the water or low water pressure may occur during flushing.  If discolored water is experienced, please allow tap water to run until clear.  Residents are asked to check their water before doing any wash.

The Water Department apologizes any inconvenience and thanks you for your understanding.

Senior Freeze on Property Taxes

The Senior Property Tax Reimbursement books are available at the Municipal Complex, 165 Broadway.   To qualify for the Senior Freeze, an applicant must meet specific requirements …

  • Must have been age 65 or older as of December 31, 2016, OR actually receiving federal Social Security disability benefit payments on or before December 31, 2016, and on or before December 31, 2017.  Individuals will not qualify if the federal Social Security disability benefits you (or your spouse) were receiving were received on behalf of someone else; and
  • You must have lived in New Jersey continuously since December 31, 2006, or earlier as either a homeowner or a renter; and
  • You must have owned and lived in your home (or have leased a site in a mobile home park on which you have placed a manufactured or mobile home that you own) since December 31, 2013, or earlier (and you still owned and lived in that home on December 31, 2017)
  • You must have paid the full amount of the Property Taxes due on your home: For 2016: By June 1, 2017, and For 2017: By June 1, 2018; and Your total annual income must have been: For 2016: $87,007 or less, and For 2017: $87,268 or less.
